Pitfalls of Spiritual Awakening/Enlightenment

      

The hardest part of awakening/enlightenment is that we can no longer lie to ourselves about the judgement (fear, anger, hatred) that we carry, and we want to be done with it. We see the lack of love in our past and present, whether done by us or others, and we want to forgive, and allow God to come in and make a place in us, as it's put in the Bible. There are some ways of looking at the pain of the past that can clear out judgement, like forgiving/asking for forgiveness from others whether talking it out by yourself, or reaching out to people. Your heart will guide you in that choice.
